Tools on behalf of UNDP-BDP.
October: IT4DEV selected to carry out an ICT assessment for
Azerbaijan on behalf of the Asian Development Bank .
September: IT4DEV delivers a paper on aid managements systems at
the "Responding To The Harmonisation and Alignment Agenda"
conference in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. August: IT4DEV completes a review of the State Courts
Administration use of ICT in Ukraine on a E.C. funded public
administration reform project.
July: IT4DEV is assisting UNDP in the draft of the ICT strategy

May-June: IT4DEV is reviewing the Knowledge Management System

March: IT4DEV completes missions in Papua New Guinea and
Solomon Islands for ADB's
Pro-Poor Subregional E-Government Project for Providing Basic
Service Delivery to Remote Communities in the Pacific.
February: IT4DEV reviews the Innovation Springboard Project in
Ukraine. This includes a review of the tele-center model and
recommendations on a ICT strategies and policies January: IT4DEV works with the Asian Development Bank at the
formulation of an e-government
project for the Pacific. This project includes a largely
distributed VSAT network to bring connectivity to remote locations
in the region. The project is introduced to stakeholders at the
PITA/PTC
yearly conference in Honolulu
2003
December: After drafting a proposal for the European
Commission for a women's rights information project , IT4DEV
assisted UNDP-ICTDAR
in running the first workshop for its implementation in the Arab
States.
November -December IT4DEV assisted UNDP and ESCWA in the
organization of an
E-Government Workshop in Yemen, with a large regional
participation of government and private sector attendees and
speakers. IT4DEV presented a roadmap for the assessment of ICT
in the country and the formulation of an ICT master plan.
October:
IT4DEV and UNDP Cairo review the state of the Egyptian Custom's
use of ICT. September:
IT4DEV worked with the Asian Development Bank in preparing
the booklet
"Information and Communication Technology for Development in the
Pacific" May-August: IT4DEV assisted the
Asian Development Bank in the formulation of a business plan
for the Centre for Learning, Information, Communication and
Knowledge (CLICK) July: IT4DEV presented to UNDP Yemen a national strategy

E-readiness Assessment which IT4DEV prepared for

(The Action Plan was approved by the Council of Ministers on 18

February: IT4DEV worked in Syria through the
United Nations Development Programme to assist the State
Planning Commission in establishing e-government services for
Aid Management. January: IT4DEV finalized the ICT policies draft for the
Government of Afghanistan,
Ministry of Telecom.
